In 2023, Kenyang joined Biji-biji Initiatives' Environmental Accelerator Programme.

This is a programme where environmental-related organisations in Perak go through a series of selection processes and project proposals, receive seed funding and go through the project implementation period of 6 months with mentorship provided by internal and external mentors.

​

The Environmental Accelerator Programme is a scaled expansion of the previous YH Environmental NGO Accelerator Programme.

​

During the tenure of this programme, Biji-biji Initiative and Kenyang focused on building the internal capacities of existing environmental organizations.

​

Through the Environmental Accelerator Programme, Biji-biji Initiative aims to inspire more talents to be involved in environmental efforts specifically on restoration, conservation and protection, as well as to ensure existing environmental businesses are embracing the collaborative mindset.

​

It is also envisioned that more environmental-related businesses and organizations will gear towards a more impact-driven approach in building their capacities and growing their businesses.
